Empty nesters adapt new homes to new challenges
Dave and Diane Biddle had several criteria in mind when they began searching for a new house.
One stood out above all: They wanted a single-story home. They had lived in a two-story colonial in Franklin for more than two decades. Stairs don’t get easier as legs grow older.
“We both were working and busy, and the home was fine for a long time, but we wanted something that was a bit less work, and we really wanted a single-story home,” Dave Biddle said.
They found their answer in 2005 in Greendale. The single-family ranch was well maintained. It had lots of trees and outdoor features. They loved its central location.
